Between 16–21 May 2026, TESCOM Uninterruptible Power Supplies participated among the DMY Defense companies in the exhibition area of Exercise EFES, the largest exercise conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and held biennially.

Although the organization of this exhibition was first introduced as part of the 2016 exercise, it was suspended for a period due to the pandemic and resumed in 2024. While 43 companies took part in the exhibition area in 2024, this number increased to 55 companies in 2026.

During the first three days of the exhibition, there was significant attendance from domestic and international military personnel, military cadets, academics, university students, and members of the public. From the third day onward, participation increasingly included administrative and technical executives from exhibiting companies, as well as representatives from institutions such as the Ministry of National Defense (MoND) and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).

Throughout the exhibition, we visited numerous companies among the 55 exhibitors with whom we currently collaborate or see potential opportunities for future cooperation. Likewise, executives and representatives of these companies also visited our stand.

The Minister of National Defense, Mr. Yaşar GÜLER, the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Bilal DURDALI, and the President of Defense Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk GÖRGÜN, each paid separate visits to our stand. In addition, a delegation from the Presidency of Defense Industries visited our stand, including Ms. Zübeyde ARSLANOĞLU, Head of the R&D Department; Mr. Muhammed Sami ULUKAVAK, Head of the Air Defense and Missile Systems Department; Mr. Murat ÇİZGEL, Head of the Cyber Security and Information Systems Department; Mr. Yüksel ÜNAL, Head of the Helicopter Department; and Mr. Fatih Mehmet BAYAR, Head of the Aircraft Department.

During the final two days of the exercise, designated as the “Distinguished Observer Day,” both daytime and nighttime live-fire exercises were conducted. Under the Distinguished Observer concept, selected domestic and international senior military and civilian officials, members of the press, and a limited number of company representatives were granted access to the observation area, where they observed military operations carried out with live ammunition according to pre-defined scenarios. Information regarding the systems and equipment used in these activities—including their manufacturers, operational purposes, and dates of entry into the Turkish Armed Forces inventory—was also presented to the observers.

As part of the exercise, a “Defense Science and Technologies Competition” was organized for university and high school students. Dedicated exhibition space was provided for participating student teams, allowing them to showcase their projects.

During meetings held throughout the event, the capabilities and competencies of our companies within the DMY DEFENSE structure were presented. Depending on the scope of each discussion, meetings were also conducted focusing on specific companies and projects. At our stand, in addition to a 300 kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply manufactured in accordance with military standards, various industrial power electronics products were exhibited. Furthermore, MICROINA’s RF products and ASSAN Elektronik’s assembled circuit board samples, along with R&D products such as the Terminal Data Link, were showcased to visitors.
